The Prevention Assistant will supervise and guide the team of Environmental Prevention Agents (APAs – Agentes de Prevención Ambiental) responsible for the direct implementation of community-based prevention activities in La Guaira, under the coordination of the Prevention Coordinator. The role will contribute to a programme addressing vector-borne disease (VBD) and WASH in the aftermath of the earthquake of June 2026.

Requirements for the role
- The right to live and work in Venezuela.
- An educational background in public health, nursing, environmental health, biology or a related field is desirable.
- Experience in public health, community engagement, nursing or related sectors in Venezuela.
- Experience using databases and information collection tools (for example, Kobo collect) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working with NGOs is preferable.
