Grants Manager – HQ

The MENTOR Initiative is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and skilled Grants Manager to be based at our HQ in Hayward’s Heath, UK or remotely. In this role you will assist with the overall management of a designated regional or country programme covering finance and administration, HR, development of local finance/admin systems, and supporting the local team. You will have the critical task of supporting the organisation to achieve its objectives in grant administration, in line with The MENTOR Initiative guidance/guidelines. Travel to the relevant programmes will be required on a periodic basis.

Key requirements for the role:
– Background in finance management, economics or a related field.
– Proven experience in financial and administrative management of humanitarian programmes.
– Experience of working with major donors and private philanthropic funds.
– Experience of financial management, reporting and remote monitoring of finance teams in the field.

Strong written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of French or Portuguese would be an advantage. This role could be based at our office in Haywards Heath (or hybrid in the UK), or remotely if outside the UK. For full details, please click here: Grants Manager
