MENTOR is working closely with health authorities in Central African Republic and World Vision to implement a new The Global Fund grant aimed at strengthening the national health system. The grant covers the period up to December 2026 and started with workshops to plan the programme across the country.
At a recent workshop held together with the French Red Cross, participants from four health regions were briefed on all aspects of the programme including objectives, indicators and monitoring and evaluation.
We are also working closely with the health region and district teams to develop priority annual work plans for HIV, TB and malaria programmes to address the specific needs of each district.
Data collected over the last three months from health facilities has been validated, ensuring accurate and reliable information drives effective decision-making.
“This collaborative effort highlights the commitment and expertise of all partners to ensure effective synergy between all actors, aiming for a sustainable impact on the health system in Central African Republic.” – Joana Sá, MENTOR Programme Manager.
